Join Agent GoodGreen in his mission to protect healthy living by exercising and eating right!

Make it your mission!

It's up to you to treat your body right and it's your most important mission of all. If you start by keeping yourself healthy, then you'll be able to keep your home, town and planet healthy too.

Get outside and enjoy the green!

Today there are so many fun things to do indoors -- playing video games, watching television, surfing the 'Net, listening to music, talking to friends. These things can be fun, but they're not a good way to keep your body healthy. By going outside and getting active, you'll feel better and you'll be able to enjoy all the green that the world has to offer.

How about some of these ideas for a great time exercising your body:

  • Have a jump rope contest
  •
  • Hike in a park or forest preserve
  •
  • Ride a bike and go in-line skating (don't forget that helmet)
  •
  • Take the dog for a walk (or just take yourself for a walk)
  •
  • Play tag, kickball, four-square, basketball, badminton, Frisbee
  •
  • Create your own roads with sidewalk chalk
  •
  • Take your music outside and have a dance competition
  •

All of these activities and many more are what make your muscles stronger and your heart happier. Take care of your body now, and you'll be very glad you did later.

Eating a healthy diet doesn't have to be a boring diet

Green is good. Green trees and plants and grass mean that the planet is healthy. There are also many, many green things you can eat as part of a healthy diet. Green vegetables and fruit are always good to eat anytime of the day. That doesn't mean you should only eat green things.   Agent GoodGreen is quite a busy fellow so it helps him to have a list of food that he should and shouldn't eat.

He likes to have a easy way to remember foods that are healthy and foods that aren't so healthy. That's why Agent GoodGreen follows the Go Foods, Slow Foods, Whoa Foods program. Sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?

Go, Slow and Whoa

Go Foods are low in fat, sugar and calories. They also have lots of nutrients, which are good for your body, like vitamins and minerals. They are good to eat anytime.

Slow Foods have a higher amount of fat, added sugar and calories. You could eat Slow Foods several times a week but not every day.

Whoa Foods have a lot of fat and added sugar. They're high in calories but low in nutrients. You should only have Whoa Foods once in a while or on special occasions.

No matter what it is you eat, make sure you balance your diet with a good program of activity. Now get out there and enjoy the green!
