Interview with Vampire's Nina Dobrev

ATLANTA, Ga (WWHO) - CW Columbus Star Annie visited the set of "The Vampire Diaries" in January to interview the show's hottest stars.

Nina Dobrev plays Elena Gilbert on the CW hit series "The Vampire Diaries."

Gilbert is a young, beautiful high school student who falls in love with vampire Stefan Salvatore. She gets caught between the two Salvatore brothers in a love triangle of good and evil. Her character seems weak and innocent, but we have found that she is actually very strong and can easily get into some trouble.

Nina is somewhat similar to her character. One hand she is really as nice as she seems! I even spoke with her about her recent birthday trip to Las Vegas and she joked with me about how she can be a hermit at times and loves staying in and watching movies. But, I can also tell she has strength and drive. Coming from another hit series, "Degrassi: The Next Generation", she knows a thing or two about being successful.
