Interview with Vampire's Sara Canning

ATLANTA, Ga (WWHO) - CW Columbus Star Annie visited the set of "The Vampire Diaries" in January to interview the show's hottest stars.

Sara Canning plays Jenna Sommers on the hit series The Vampire Diaries. Even though she plays the older sister and mother-like figure for Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), Canning, 22, is one of the youngest cast members. She is the only cast member playing someone older than her actual age.

Canning seems a lot different from Jenna. She is sweet, laid back and very funny. She seems like one of those people that just go with the flow. At the time of our interview she barely had a voice, but she still was able to joke about it and still have fun.

Canning, like Dobrev, is another Canada native. She graduated from the Vancouver Film School and is no stranger to the CW network. Before starring in The Vampire Diaries, Canning guest starred in Smallville.
