Annie explores Mystic Falls

COVINGTON, Ga (WWHO) - After a long 14-hour-day on the set, we found out that there was still a few more locations for filming. One was about thirty minutes outside of Atlanta in the small town of Covington, Georgia. The town was so adorable and immediately I recognized the Mystic Grill. I quickly got out of the car to go inside, only to find out that it was not a restaurant! The building is a law firm! We shot a few different things and my producer made me go inside as if I were grabbing a bite! (HAHA Get it?) The receptionist at the law firm was not too pleased with me, but I made sure to make a quick exit after grabbing some laffy taffy from the candy bowl.
You could tell the town’s people don't mind the cameras. Many of them came right up to us asking if we were from "that vampire show." Apparently many are used as extras! How cool would that be to be an extra in your own city!
