Mission Statement:
The CW on WWHO-TV Project: Green community initiative seeks to educate, promote, and inform the Central Ohio community about healthy living and environmental responsibility.

Objectives:
To collaborate and partner with companies committed to supporting a healthy environment.

To help companies of all sizes spread the word about their environmentally friendly solutions.

What makes WWHO and Project: Green different:

* The CW on WWHO-TV was one of the first television stations in the country to embrace and create a "going green" environmental awareness & responsibility movement.
* Our goal is to educate consumers about real environmentally friendly products and services, and the companies behind them that are making a difference.
* The CW on WWHO-TV airs hundreds of announcements each month educating central Ohio on the importance of taking care of our planet.
* WWHO is "going green" internally and operationally, even down to the free items we pass out to viewers at community events.
* WWHO is a leading force in facilitating and hosting on-going community "green" movements and pro-environmental events.
* Project: Green goes much deeper than just "recycling". Information and research is gathered and evaluated by outside experts to help guide the community on how to become more eco-conscious.
* Agent GoodGreen is the personality that brings Project: Green to organizations and classrooms. His message - maintaining a healthy self, home, town and planet - is fun and easy to understand for all ages.
